Warm cinnamon apple
Microwave chopped apple with cinnamon, a little sugar, and water. A warm dessert for one with a short rest before serving.

Ingredients
- 1 medium apple
- 1 tbsp Tap water (15 ml)
- 1 tsp Granulated sugar (4 g)
- 1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon (0.6 g)

Method
- Wash the apple, cut out the core, and cut the rest into small, even chunks.
- Put the apple in a microwave-safe bowl with the water, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir.
- Microwave for 2 minutes, stir carefully, then continue in 30-second bursts until the apple is soft, usually 1–2 minutes more.
- Use oven mitts to remove the bowl and rest for 1 minute before eating.
